Takaharu Yamazaki received the BS and MS degrees from department of
medical physics and engineering in allied health science and PhD degree in
medical science from Osaka University, Japan in 1998, 2000 and 2004,
respectively. From 2004 to 2006 he was a Research Associate in the Department
of Orthopaedics at Osaka University Graduate School
of Medicine. From 2006 to 2011 he was a Specially Appointed Lecturer at the
Center for Advanced Medical Engineering and Informatics (MEI Center), Osaka
University. Since 2011, he has been a Specially Appointed Associate Professor at
the MEI Center, Osaka University. His research interests include medical image
processing and analysis, kinematics of skeletal joint, and biomechanics.
